Managing Virtual Directories

Managing Virtual Directories includes:
  • Editing Virtual Directories
  • Viewing/Setting ACL Permissions
  • Viewing Sub Virtual Directories
To edit virtual directories:

 

  1. Log on to hc9 panel.
  2. From the left menu click Hosting Services, and then Manage Websites.
    A drop-down displays.
  3. Click My Websites.
    My Websites page displays.
  4. Under Website Name column, select website then Properties.
    The Website Properties page displays.
  5. Click Virtual Directories to view/edit virtual directories for the selected website.
    The Virtual Directories page displays.
  6. Under Virtual Directory column , select virtual directory.
  7. Click Edit Virtual Directory.
    The Virtual Directory's Properties page displays.
  8. Modify the information and click Save Settings.
    The Virtual Directory is modified.



To view/set ACL permissions for the selected virtual directory:

  1. Under Virtual Directory column, select virtual directory and click ACL Permissions.
    The ACL Permissions page displays.
  2. Modify the permissions as required and click Add/Change.
    The specified permissions are set.

    To delete the user from the permissions list, click the user name, and then Remove. 



To view sub virtual directories of the selected virtual directory:

  1. Under Virtual Directory column , select virtual directory and click Sub Virtual Directories.
    The Virtual Directories page displays.
