Settings for Linux DNS Server

To configure cluster settings for a linux DNS server:
  1. Log on to hc9 Panel.
  2. From the left menu click Cluster Configuration, and then Manage Servers.
    A drop-down displays.
  3. Click Cluster Settings.
    The Cluster Settings page displays.
  4. Select Linux Family tab.
    The available Linux server tabs displays.
  5. Select DNS Server tab.
    The DNS Server configurations page displays.
  6. Select the check box in the right column.
    Services and options for the DNS Server are displayed.
  7. Under Options column, select Bind DNS as this is the only DNS Server supported with Linux OS.
  8. Click Save Settings.
    The Linux DNS Server is configured.
