Databases

Websites deal with dynamic page creation and customizable real time data processing forms that need a database server to manage all these activities. Hosting Controller offers number of powerful features to ensure excellent management of databases. The panel supports two of the most potent database servers namely Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL.

To view existing Databases in the panel go to Provisioning >> Databases.

Manage Databases page shows list of existing Databases with additional information as:

  • Database Name - shows name of the database.
  • Owner - shows name of the owner.
  • Provider - shows the provider e.g. Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL.
  • Associated Website - shows name of the associated website.
  • Database Size (MB) - shows size of the database in MBs.
  • Connectivity - shows database connectivity information.
  • Actions - allow admins to perform various actions.
